Taylor Mesple became a music producer and engineer by accident.  Having gotten a very early start at being a studio musician as a keyboardist and vocalist at the ripe age of 13, Taylor was immersed in a community of songwriters, artists and studio musicians from the start.  He was a regular on the Denver studio scene at that age.  Taylor was known for his good taste and discernment when it came to recommending the right musicians and engineers for a particular collection of songs, being a passionate listener and student of music.  It was natural that artists would commonly ask Taylor to help pick players and engineers for their songs...  and Taylor was surprised to find out later on that this was a big part of what was called "producing".

Taylor formed InnerCircle Productions, Inc. in 1999 because he was steadily producing recordings for indie artists, and a few signed ones.  InnerCircle remains an elite and "upscale" production company- doing world class work.  In 2004, Taylor formed a subsidiary company, AffordableDemos.com - in order to facilitate doing demos on a budget for singers and songwriters.  Taylor is Creative Director for both companies, but enlists the talents and creativity of many crucial links to the chain for both companies.

Taylor received vastly helpful advice from legendary producers Patrick Leonard and Charlie Peacock early on, and now enjoys rich production collaborations with other producers such as Pete Nelson, John McVey and Dave Beegle.  Taylor views the role of a producer as cultivating, nurturing and unearthing the natural beauty in a song- providing a vehicle for the full realization of what is special and moving about it.  He usually employs lots of time and a handful of the best studio musicians in the world to accomplish this...

Industry veterans have commented about Taylor's ideal balance between being able to dissect certain musical elements under the microscope, and the wisdom to know when to back off and let something just soar without being messed with.
